Texture/Material - Soft Textured 100% Pure Kora Muga Tussar Silk Fabric. Kora Muga Tussar Silk is a thin plain weave partially sheer fabric of Silk. The craftsman weaves it from silk worm which consists of thin spun threads. The already spun silk yarn obtained helps maintain a weightlessness to it, which coupled with the sheen it derives from the silk yarns, adds the required tone of glamour to kora silk. This fabric is woven with pure Kora Muga Spun Silk yarn as well as tussar silk yarn in the weft. Tussar Silk, also known by its Sanskrit name Kosa silk, is produced from Tusser silkworms. Tussar is valued for its texture and natural gold colour, which is unusually rich and deep. The fabric is weaved by having muga silk in the wrap and tussar silk in the weft.
